Here's my 77 (CD) Leslie S5TRRO on the Big South Fork Scenic Railway once again after having a bit more work done on the 44 bell power chamber. Last time I ran the horn the 55 bell over powered the 44 so I swapped the 55 and 31 PCs to see if it would help. I thought it helped at the time, but soon discovered other issues with the 44 PC and sent it off for more machining. After getting the PC back, I simply slapped it on the horn and took it for a spin. First thing I discovered was that the 31 and 44 bells now dominated the horn. While at Blue Heron, we swapped the 31 and 55 heads once again. Now I think the 44/55 balance is perfect. I'm satisfied with the balance of the 25/31/37 bells, but I think it's only a matter of time before I send those PCs in for remachining so their power will match that of the 44/55 which have both now been remachined.
