15"s killing a house

OK so PA speakers cant hope to match proper 15" SUBwoofers, but they have a damn good shot at it. Although the camera doesnt pic it up cos its too busy focusing on 50hz from the mains lights, the downstairs light visually shakes like hell when bass under 32hz is played. And yes, that is the ceiling of the stairs making that nasty flexing sound!!
Like i say these are 15s with highly strengthened crinkle cardboard surrounds, and boxed with no port walls tuned to around 34hz, but being PA they also peak at something like 150hz also, where you get that insanely loud high bass that makes you feel terribly sick but thats fun at the same time. They also have very loud and clear horn mid/highs in them. The signal being sent to the 2x200W powered mixer is from my computer which has a 5.1 surround soundcard, so im obviously using the subwoofer out terminal. The X-over freq is pretty high but they can handle it being PA. They're rated at 500Wrms each, so technically underpowering them by 300W! Even if i had a 500Wrms amp i think id be too scared to puch these to the limit, theyre loud enough as it is. Volume-wise and used as PA speakers rather than subwoofers i wouldnt be suprised if they could hit 140db+ on 200W, and still provide un-distorted, punchy clean sound.
Hmm ive just had an idea....maybe i should test out my eD on the 200W amp while its up here...would probably need to bridge it tho... maybe not such a good idea...unless i run one coil on each channel...that would give 2ohms to each n thats too low...

Uhh i do that with 1x12" Subwoofer. But at these crap build american houses thats normal. Do it on a German house and your Basses are sucked xD
