This is one of the worst films I've ever seen. Its pro-American propaganda bullshit. This is an American version of 'The Triumph of the Will'.

Ah, didn't realise this was fanmade at first so well done but a havn't seen the film and this seems to have been full of spoilers which is annoying.

Wouldn't it be easier to train astronauts to drill than to train drillers ton be astronauts???

My personal favorite catastrophic movie. Deep Impact might have better acing, but is boring and has significantly worse special effects (but also A-class). Soon I will whether Emmerich's "2012" is better or not.

Ive always thought Deep Impact was a good film but nowhere near the standard of this - special effects wise and plot wise.
In DI I was always amazed that Elijah Wood managed to outrun the tidal wave that took out the Statue of Liberty-up a hill!!
