Teen Titans: Year One // Time Of Your Life

TT: Year One is one of the cutest things ever. Don't even try and deny it. The art is adorable and the writing is very fun. So, I had to make a tribute of it. =3 I don't even have a favourite- Dick, Wally, Garth, Roy and Donna were all precious!

Oh, and a few scans of the evolution of the fab five at the end. Besides that, it's all Teen Titans: Year One scans.

This makes me want to make a Roy/Donna video. So frickin' adorable.

Aw yeah, wide-screen! Yeah, I'm not sure if I'll be able to do wide-screen again. I hate my computer so much. xD it took about three/four hours just to render THIS video. T_T

EDIT: I went to check the Titans Tower monitor room page randomly, and was met with one of the biggest shocks I've had for a while. There was a link to this video at the top of the page. I'm actually hyperventilating! xD

Only problem I had with the comic is that they didn't give Dick pants.

I mean they modded the Titans universe with internet and all that, but they couldn't give Robin pants?

@Sonfaro You only have a problem with Robin? Wonder Girl and Aqualad can show off their legs all they want though? xD

Well, it's because the costumes are part of their history. Whether you like them or not, if you find them ridiculous or not- they're iconic. They retconned a lot of old costumes for the reboot and imo, those look over-complicated and kind of ugly.

I miss the scaly shorts-that-were-actually-part­-of-a-leotard. And the Discowing collar.

@starlight20angel Didn't notice it as bad with Wondergirl... probably since Wonder Woman's outfit isn't much better. -_- But yeah. Aqualads outfit wasn't ideal either.

I focus more on Robin though, becaus in most rehashes they're decent enough to give him pants.

Plus... Robins sort of the most popular character on that roster. So...

@Sonfaro Eh, like I said, it's part of their history.

It's fine (and more ideal, I agree) when they rehash the costume for tv and movies but the comics are much more linear. By changing their costumes, it kind of feels like they're changing the story. I don't know, it just feels like a shame.

Plus, it's great to see the characters looking back and going 'I can't believe I wore that!' Like when Tim and Kory were making fun of Dick's first Nightwing costume. xP

@darksharxz The Titans are definitely one of my favourite teams in comics, and I also really enjoy any era. But, I'm partial to the NTT-era kids. xP
