Natural theology is misguided, for it is based on empiricism. That men learn certain things of God through their senses by observing the world around them
All knowledge is REVEALED to the mind by God.

The Teleological Argument does not require an omnipotent, eternal God. Also, why not two gods, or three? Why not a plurality of gods who have designed this universe?
"Classical" apologists err because they do not accept the bible alone as the word of God, for if they did, they would not use fallacious arguments such as these.
