Putting a 3" GP-100 through its paces at short and long range. Ammunition fired includes PMC factory 158 grain jacketed soft point ammo, as well as my 165 grain lead handloads.

  • Hickock45, what handgun do you keep in your bedside table?

  • @CofC413, Glock 23 one place and on another floor a G21.

  • @oldman1911A1 Ah, thank you so much for taking the time to tell me this. I live in the UK and guns are classed are *Criminal weapons*

  • @MindSeeR666 You twist the center knob and they drop right out (into the cylinder). I have one for my GP 100 and my S&W 60 (5-shot). I keep my guns empty with a speed loader beside 'em. Not a great compromise, but the status is clearly visible and I don't lose much time getting them loaded, even in the dark.

  • I have the new model of Ruger SP 101 in the kit gun version and I enjoy it a lot, has a wonderful kick to it. Hickok45 do you reload .357 ? I wonder if it a problematic reload as the .40 S&W is, as I am told over and over. Are these rounds best left to commercial manufacturers?

  • I'd really like to see one of those speed loaders close up. Is there like a lil switch or something that pushes it out of the holder?

  • At 12:40 am I the only one sayin' "git 'em again, git 'em again"?

  • Its a great gun. Very thick and built like a tank about sums it up. Its built off their 44 mag just in 357. So you know itll handle some hot ammo. Its my first and only ruger. But after shooting it a while, it may not be my last.

  • Hickok45, have you ever shot a ruger sp101? if so do you like them and it would be great to see a video of it from you

  • I bought the 4 inch and it is awesome. Came in box with the Houge grip. Hard to beat this gun! Durable, rugged and the stainless steel version is just freaking beautiful! Great gun to plink with too!

  • I sure would like you to get your hands on a ruger sp101 3inch barrel. Bet I'm not the only one..I also think you would love it. Great vids.

  • I gotta get me one of those.
