@agora1955: Her mother-In-Law wasnt at the first time really against her, in letter which were found, she was rigorous, but friendly to her, later, when Sisi (or some would think her letters mean Liesi) was to influential in politics and against the court ceremonial she began to cabal against her. :-)

@kristy922 As I said to others you can find it on Youtube: Principessa Sissi- ENGLISH SUBS episode 1 part 1 but the quality isn't as good. If you speak french you should be able manage to watch it in italian, too. I don't know how good you are though. Search for this and you find the italian version: Sissi - Fiction Rai Uno - 1° puntata - part.1.wmv

She was a WONDERFUL person @dutchnativeprincess. I live near her home in
Possenhofen, Bavaria and nobody would say a word against her except that her life
was so sad and tragic. Losing her first baby at the age of 2 years almost broke her, and
the bitch of a mother-in-law was enough to kill anyone, but when her son Rudolf killed himself
it was the end of Sisi. She may have had beauty and money but life did not treat her well.
If she had been a cold person she would have survived. She didnt

@Mandinko23 perhaps take a look at who the real Sissi was? ;) Not such a wonderful, loving person and not such a great mom all the movies show us.
