Classic. Its too bad they messed up on the movies. Would like to see a reboot with someone who can get it right.

Cruise turns everything to stink. He is singularly overrated. If you put him in Platoon, no one would give a damn. Put him in Casualties of War, and you have PU. Same for Wall Street. Speed with Sandra Bullock? Stinkeroo. He can't do serious multidimensional acting. He is like a pint sized John Wayne for our era.

I think by "original intro" they were referring to the arrangement of the theme music. Throughout the series' 7-year run there have been 3 different arrangements.

This can't be the original intro as Steven Hill was in the first season not Peter Graves.

The M I series we all loved it dearly and hope one day they will restore it like the original for TV.

This had to have been one of the best serious epsionage shows produced for television. It certainly was a thinking person's shows, but also had some great action scenes as well. I have always loved this music theme.
