Sunday January 16, 2011 --

Video of the "Anti-Colonial Anarchism and Indigenous Resistance" workshop, held in Toronto at the North American Anarchist Studies Network conference on January 16, 2011. Kate Milley, Tom Keefer, Shaista Patel, and Missy Elliott speak about Canadian Indigenous resistance movements.

The North American Anarchist Studies Network (NAASN) held it's second annual conference last weekend in Toronto, Canada. Located at the Steel Workers Union Offices, a common venue where progressive groups and radical thinking individuals come together to debate and educate, the conference consisted of 2 full days of workshops, theoretical analysis, exploration and critical discussion about the philosophy and practice of Anarchism, it's application in political struggles, social change, art and personal relationships. Admission was pay what you can, with proceeds going to the G20 Legal Defence Fund, naturally.
