Fiery Speech on Native Rights, Solidarity

This fiery speech by native leader George Erasmus is an indicator of what has yet to happen. The emotion and raw aggression in his voice is firm and clear. The ability to use your voice to relay our inherent and indigenous rights is important and our leaders of today and tomorrow must speak the same path of understanding of current and future issues.

Thank You! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! Furthermore, our federal government of Canada did not volunteer to change racist sexist laws & policies against Canada's First Nations. No...Nope! They had to lobby outside of Canada for 20 years to shame our government to get a hearing-... and then it just created a 'Commission' that it didn't listen to neither!!! Charge the government of Canada and the European churches and now multinational corporations with crimes against Humanity! Do It!

I'm White English, so I have no cultural ties with the Americas (and unfortunately a lot of my own country's past is plagued with cultural oppression and imperialism which I distance myself from as far as possible), but my heart goes out to Native Americans so much. It disgusts me that white people could walk into a country with such cultural vastness, claim it as their own and attempt to destroy all native culture. I pledge endless respect and support for every fight you suffer through.
