i just had this conversation with my friend about 3 days ago. i'm a devout metalhead, but you can't find roy's talent hardly ever anymore. he had absolutely masterful command of the guitar. you put ol' lightning fingers in the arena with all the licks and tricks we have today and he'd drop more jaws than a dentist.

Sorry SRV has his place with the greats: but Roy Clark is a much more versatile stylists than Stevie ever thought about being. But yes two different interpretations altogether both fine.
