  • This is great, just what I was looking for, very basic exercises. I keep trying to get ahead of myself and then loose focus on practicing and mastering the basics from the ground up. I am going to learn these finger runs so I can do them fluently, then concentrate on scales. Do you have a set system or should I just go through your videos randomly? and thank you for these lessons

  • Please, watch our latest video: How to read music? Lesson 5. What you have to see before you pay for music lessons.

    It explains a lot!

Yes, this is a system that would teach you everything to be fluent music reader and piano player

  • I am doing diploma level scales etc, could you possibly do a section on those please? Many thanks in advance

  • I didn't understand what kind of help do you need

  • I being playing a piano by myself for a long time ,no buddy has tough me ,I have find these exercises very helpful ,I laugh a lot because I mistake all the time ..LOL

    Thank you Professor! ;-)

  • Thanks!

  • thanks for the lesson

but how long should it take for us to do that properly?

  • i find that going up with using the index finger on black keys i have better accuracy and speed..

  • good use of metaphors! your accent is brilliant!

  • please do a video to explain what scales are :D

  • I think this is taught very well....i really like the black cat and mouse! The way she teaches is very effective and she makes me laugh at the same time. lol. As far as speed goes, it's not to fast for me. The pase is good and she does not loose me. I believe most beginners would not have a problem with this. Chromatic scales is one of the best ways to warm up before playing. I do this as a guitar player a lot and it really helps!

  • this is cool
