@TehStupidBish No, that isn't what i said. interpretation is subjective. I personally like listening to Mørk's elgar rather than Du Pre's, although her interpretation is just as great. I like listening to Starker's Kodaly more than yo yo ma's, but that doesn't mean either interpretation's "better". I don't really want to argue, I just want to listen.

@yotubby123 So you say that only because they're "high level cellists" that they're both on the same level? Starker's performance was better then yo-yo ma's in the same way that du pré had a better interpretation of elgar than anyone will ever have.
