emotionally nice!!! nice beat
-
more emotion in gross' voice than johnny's, johnny may be a better singer but his voice isnt as good for the song
-
This is OK, but the one with Bowzer and Johnny C is 100 times better!

I'm very partial to Johnny Contardo's version of this song but Henry did a great job. Yes, this was before Bowser and Johnny entered the scene and like they say the rest is history. Fabulous band that only got better and when they were doing their tv show, they were at their professional peak because the had off the chart singers.

This is better than the orignal.

As long as we have these great songs, Rock and roll will never die. thanks for sharing.

Marvellous. I saw them in Birmingham in the early 1970's with my friend Anthony (R.I.P.). I had never heard of them but it was sold out and it was a most wonderful evening.
Was Bowzer not there yet?

Nope, when this was recorded Sha Na Na's bassman was Alan Cooper. He can be seen singing "At The Hop" at Woodstock!
Then Bowzer joined the band in 1970 after Cooper left.
