Only ever saw the word in writing till I went to my first Sounders game. "Darby" like the name, not "Derby" like Kentucky Derby. Is there any grammatical US/UK rule that causes that?

@carella211 lol what? Of course we have new Customers everyone will have new customers from a higher league. The jump from USL to MLS has jumped our average up from 10k to 18k about 45% new if you look at average. Although we had 15k+ at our last 3 league matches. What was your jump again from USL to MLS like 4k to 32k? a jump of what 800%... Tell me who has the higher amount of noobs ;)

And it wasn't until 2009, when SEATTLE came to town that you had your first sellout. And it wasn't until LAST YEAR, when everyone was hyped about MLS that you got into 5 figures. @carella211 Portland averaging twice as many fans throughout the "minor league" years, im sorry but thats just facts. Please look it up. With less than half the population mind you. Seattle averaged somewhere in the neighborhood of 3k attendance in the USL years. Portland averaged 6kish. Seattle ignored their team in droves until they got into the MLS. Some of your fans are real, but most of you are just customers who will flee after the first losing season.
