she was thrown off a bus. hundreds of rapes happen in delhi every year. the rate of convictions for sex crimes is only 38%. this is why it is an issue.

HAAA . Religion does not come in to play in crimes against WOMEN or HUMAN in any form they are disregarded and should be dealth with.I am not at all making any assumptions . Lolz I find it funny start people commenting on a situation which they saw on TV without understanding its Facts. In Delhi which is so called capital of india Alone 900 Rape Cases are pending in court for year 2012, these are registered Govt is not acting , They have deployed 2000 poilicemen against 6000 college going students ,Parents who have come along with their children . This protest is to force Govt to act on creating harsher penalty for such crimes
