Comix Connection on WHP 21 News at 6 PM 1-17-09

On January 17, 2009, WHP TV 21's 6PM news broadcast featured a story on Barack Obama's appearance in Amazing Spider-man #583, including interview quotes from our Mechanicsburg manager Joe Hare, as well as a shot of our storefront.

Unfortunately, we are completely sold out of the first printing of that issue, but we will be receiving second printings at both of our locations (York and Mechanicsburg, PA) on Wednesday, January 21.

I really do SOOOO want a copy of this comic! In England (where I'm from) they are selling like hot cakes. One copy (the 1st cover) went yesterday for over a hundred quid on ebay. I'm glad Obama was a fan of old Spidey - he can't be a bad bloke then. Good luck to him in his new job.
