what's up with the music?

adknerr, I guess when it is your family they want to eliminate, you will sing a different tune. Are you really condoning Mao's execution of over 60 million in order to save the planet?

Dour you need to reread the history books. The Reagon Tax plan of 1981 gave a gigantic cut to the rich and increased it on the poor and the next several YEARS (not months like we have now to judge) there was a massive unemployment spike 7% (Carter's worst) to 11% (Reagan's worst), then Bush #1's tax plan (that betrayed his campaign slogan) saw an increase from 6% to 8% of the next few years. Clinton's tax plan in 1993 the rate when from 6.8 down to 3.9 until Bush #2 screwed it up again (7% 2008)

Sorry Max, but I have read Ecoscience by Holdren and it says nothing of the sort. If you think discussing how human overpopulation is dangerous to the planet is 'crazy', then I guess there's nothing left to say to you. The 'extreme' solutions in the book only apply to the hypothetical extreme case possiblities. In fact, if Mao didn't try to limit China's population, they would be in ruins. Call it a civil rights issue, but there's definitely some weight behind that tactic.

LOL 1million? They'll be very lucky to get 100k. From the video's I've seen from Orlando it looks to be about 5-10k at any given time. Funnier to me is that there were tea parties last year in SUPPORT of Obama that were just as large. Just google 'orlando tea party' and you'll find the websites and information hehe.

20 million people? That seems a bit unrealistic...especially in today's economy. 20 million may be there in spirit but I wil be surprised if even 1 million actually show up.
-
Estimates of as many as 20 million people will show up in DC on the 12th of September. Those members of our government who are not due back in DC until the 14th or the 20th will be invited to attend this assembly to answer some questions. Failure to comply will be noted and acted upon.

"November 2010 is going to be a major reality check for the far right" I think you meant for the left, thanks.

The bulk of the jobs are private sector, regardless of that, all new employees will be paying taxes, won't they?
6.9 billion in LOANS. Loans that will be paid back by those who borrowed the money. Paid back with interest.
Of course unemployment went up. It takes time to distribute the money, set up the business, then start hiring. The high speed rail hasn't been built yet, maybe you didn't know that.
-
Wrong again I did read the bill.Who will be paying this back genius? The bulk of jobs created are government jobs which are payed for by the private sector which is simultaneously being taxed to death by.....the government. This is a merry go round that can't sustain itself.Unemployment has risen since the stimulus was passed!6.9Billion is only the projected cost of the first year could you be any more brain dead?Do you really think that that's all its going to cost?
MEMO to "conservatives" & Republicans:
There was a 2 year long "tea party" from 2007 through 2008.
It was called Ron Paul for president.
In case you forgot, 95% of you CHOSE not to take part (when it COUNTED) because your heads were so far up W's (and Reagan's) ass that you couldn't see.
Well, take responsibility for your INACTION. It WAS your choice.
And NOW (in 2009) you suddenly "care"? (lol)
Hypocrites (95% of 'em anyway)

Conservatives have nothing intelligent to say, so they shout over those who do.
They have no ideas and nothing to contribute, but they blindly attack every Obama proposal.
They promised security, but let 9/11 happen.
They promised prosperity, but turned surpluses into deficits and caused the greatest financial crisis since the 1930s.
They promised freedom, but cheered the Patriot Act and other restrictions of basic rights.
Still confused why you lost all credibility?
