Neocons are playing Risk with the world in real life. They believe they have to get the most before Russia or China, or whoever else does first.
The problem of trying to rid the world of terrorism is that is not a war one can win.
Stopping Communism on an economic level, ala Russia, is more advantageous than fighting little conquest wars.

Obama may not say it, but he would. We've been in Japan and Germany since the end of WWII and South Korea almost as long.
Obama may not be the warmonger and civil liberty basher McCain is, but still leaves a lot to be desired. McCain may not be the socialist Obama is, but still leaves a lot to be desired. They may as well be the same candidate at this point.

Actually, yes. :) I wasn't really interested in politics up until a couple years ago. Within the last few months or so, I started watching SA's videos as well as checking out who Ron Paul is (probably thanks to SA).
Things haven't been the same since.

McGovern. Duh. No offense, but are you new to political history or something? You should really research the rise of the New Right and past political conventions and elections. McGovern was pretty strongly attacked by the Right as being something of an isolationist or sort of a "cut and runner", much like the Republicans do today to anyone who says we should get out of Iraq. McGovern, as you know, gave the famous "come home, america" speech.

4. Complete obliteration of Israel is not the goal of any of those groups. If you actually research the goals of these organizations, you would know they are pretty legitimate, and you would feel the same way if you were in their position. They have repeatedly endorsed a two-state solution that is blocked by Israel and the U.S. Read more Chomsky.
