You should check out the Ecotool brushes. I use them and they're really great. They're pretty inexpensive and have worked really well for me so far. And they're environmentally friendly :D

@xroneh I've just bought a set of 5 eyebrushes from Ecotools and I love it!!!! They pick up the eyeshadow really well, are soft and I love that they have a short handle and come in a little case. Very travel friendly. For only 7 or 8 $ from walgreens, this is a fantastic deal.

@vintageortacky My cat does the same!!!! He used to steal my brushes from the bathroom, kicked them around and just a few days ago I finally found my eyeshadow brush UNDER THE FRIDGE, missing since APRIL!!! But I still love my cat <3 Just keeping my brushes at a safe place now!

Does the foundation brush shed a lot?

@xroneh I love those brushes! I did a overhaul on my brush sets and went all ecotool brushes. Even got my sister onto them and a make up artist friend.

@xroneh PLLLEEEEEEAAAAASSSSSEEEEE! thanks xroneh for posting that!
Cora, I have a question: do you have animals in your house at all?
I have a dog and a kitten and I'm having problems with keeping my brushes out on my dresser where I store all my stuff. I find when I go to use them, even though I clean them after each use, tiny animals hairs or even just dust particles have fallen onto the tops of them and I *hate* it.
does this happen to you? do you just brush them off?

@uselessid90 I have a Chinchilla, but he lives downstairs so he's hardly a problem for my makeup brushes (upsairs). However when I lived with my mom for a few month 2 years ago her cats would LOVE to steal my brushes/cat hair in/on everything. My mom now had a pencil case she keeps her brushes in. As for a tiny amount of dust that gathers, I brush it off but I'm looking into something to cover the brushes.

I know you don't do it on purpose but, almost every brand for anything to talk about is on PEAT's Don't test on Animals List! Yay!!
