Another Space Song

I wanted to get back into the swing of directing so I made a little short story based on this great song by the band Failure. It's called Another Space Song.

I thought that while it was supposed to be about space it was really about the space that separates people. And the obstacles we put between us. In this case losing yourself in drinking and getting further and further from where you should be.

Of course maybe its about something else and i completely misinterpreted it.

Interesting take. The vibe you presented here meshed perfectly with my feeling of the song.

I'd actually always thought of this song as being about an astronaut far away from the woman he loved, or perhaps feeling a missed chance on finding love.

I see the use of alcohol as something that makes you lose focus on the mundane things in life, and think more about the big picture stuff such as love and regret.

Great job, would type more but I hit the character limit. Reminds me of Barfly.

Excellent work! I think you actually captured what the whole album Fantastic Planet was about with this video. I dont think the space theme of the album and this song, is literal. i think its an escape from the realities and limitations of planet earth. But even if you missed the song itself, i think the best music videos don't necessary go hand-in-hand with the song, so I really liked this. Keep working at your craft, you have talent!

Dude... alcoholism is a serious disease and you should seek SERIOUS treatment. Venting your frustrations through this video is NOT the way to accomplish your ultimate goal of sobriety.
