@buxtonsofun The drummer wasnt his brother. He was an only child, or so he thought. He found out he has a brother like 2 years ago. Thats when he found out Drake was his nephew and my cousin. haha, peace :)

yes that organ was broken so he started playing bass and came up with a way to play bass while it was just him and his mother playing without a drummer

ACTUALLY!!!! His brother was in the band...part of a treo with their mother and he played the drums not only with larry in his early years but with musicians like jerry lee lewis and wrote for al green..
the message u responded to wasnt focused on his brother being in the band it was him being recognized for being the first one to come up with this particular style of bass playing

Whoever thinks the bass player is the musical non-entity who stands at the back of the stage like a statue just to make up the number.......well watch this guy in action and think again. Gimme the bass over the electric any day of any week of any year. Amazing sir!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
