@shaun1632 Herbie Herbert is just pissed because Steve was getting rid of him!! He was one of the reasons Steve was so burned out ,He asked Herbie to cut back ,but being the greedy manager that he is ..he would not which resulted in tension among the members and Steve deciding he was going to stop.So Herbie is pissed and makes up inuendos about Steve like he lost his voice and he never looked at the fans ..If you look at the footage you will see Steve interacted with the fans.can sing

No one can or should ever have been allowed to take his place. I was into Journey when most of my friends were into heavier music back in the day.
I abandon them forever after "Trial by Fire" which I own on, that was the last real Journey...I hope Steve Perry returns to music. I'd like to see him team up with the original keyboard player and Steve Smith...
They can obviously find another guitar player! Neil has no problem rescuing Tye reffugees posing as Steve with the whaa whaa accent.

Steve Perry is hands down the best male vocalist in our generation. I have loved his singing since I was a young man. Journey never would have reached the heights they did without him. I so wish he would either rejoin Journey or continue his solo efforts. So glad this video was posted! I bought the soundtrack in 1998 just for this song.
We miss you Steve....aka. the Voice!

My 10 yr old daughter loves this song and sings it everytime it's played (which is quite often!) My 18 yr old is addicted to "Open Arms". There is something to be said of a singer whose music reaches and touches different generations. Timeless...Our family loves you, Steve Perry. You are one of our favorite people! God bless you! :)
