This could have been incidental music in an ITC series like 'Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased)'! When the sitar comes in I think, they're running past a curry house now...

I wish there was a recording showing them actually playing this live. It would make for a great car chase come to that.

...the power of this instrumental is breathtaking - and achieves the lofty aspirations of ELO (fusing rock and classical) more palpably than most of Jeff Lynne's work (brilliant tough most of that was)...great upload - thanks MITC - now what about 'Rob Roy's Nightmare'...?
