Alicia, 21 months old, recognizes the letters of the ASL manual alphabet. It took her about 10 days to learn and remember them all, then two weeks later she could already recognize some written letters. She has a lot of fun spotting the letters everywhere: on newspapers, on billboards, on the computer screen... it's a game for her!
