@joshodst Yeah the 360's GPU is definitely better than the RSX. The PS3's CPU is better, though.

not a bad procesor,but its gpu sucks ass,i might get a playstation 4 though...if its good.....um interesting,for now i think the best of the best is pc gaming
i hope the pc's will be able to have a procesor like the plastation ''4'' but with a gpu like the ''AMD RADEON 6990''

@fr34kaccident The PS3 and Roadrunner do not use the same processor. PS3 uses a standard Cell processor, while Roadrunner uses over 12 thousand PowerXCell 8i processors (an improved version of Cell which, according to IBM, achieves up to five times the double-precision floating-point performance of the standard Cell processor).
Comparing them both is like comparing a single dual-core processor to a cluster of thousands of quad-core processors.

Like Lance Henriken says, the PS3 is one helluva powerful processor. I have found that some games max out the CPU though: Dragon age origins anyone? Plenty of dropped frames during that one. PCs that cost £700 to build can handle anything that you care to throw at them in terms of graphics and CPU load, but at half the price- the PS3 looks great. And it's in your living room!

@rynorulz123 you are correct sir, that is because the PlayStation 3 houses the same processor, as that of the very supercomputer you read about. its IBM's cell processor directly from they're road runner supercomputer. it is truly a magnificent console. and is a revolution in the gaming industry.

i forget what the name of it was, but a few years ago a supercomputer was released that took decades to build, it was later found out that it was the equivalent of 20 ps3 processors..... ps3 ftw :)

360 only have 3 cores, although there more powerful than 3 PS3 cores they can't compare to 8/7
