@VOHEntertainment There is nothing relating to "The Dark Knight" in Daft Punk's score. Theirs was better, and it perfectly demonstrated the atmosphere of the Grid as it is now. It's not the seemingly innocent Grid that you see in Tron. The new Grid is dark and dangerous, and I think Daft Punk did an amazing job of capturing that.

@tamatownskater I agree. The original soundtrack was far more impacting, not making the film like a music video. I could go on and on about why Legacy is mediocre to the original, and I have in my Legacy review.

I am the only person I know who has both soundtracks and loves both of them. Daft punks work really was the only thing the new film had going for it. Disney seemed to forget the original film had sotry, content, script, acting etc....unlike tron legacy. As to the actual soundtracks both are outstanding.

There are too many ignorant comments on here comparing Daft Punk's score to this one. This one is much better in my opinion and more genuine considering it was done with a synth and didn't take nearly as long to make as Daft Punk's horrible rendition. I think I will add that people are so quick to give Daft Punk all of the credit in making the soundtrack, but the fact remains that they were very much working for Disney producers who probably had more to do with it than them.
