The Tracfone SVC costs $15 and the monthly plan can be as low as $7 a month. It is also a clamshell phone with large keys, so why would anybody spend the extra money on the Jitterbug?

The scores of us Baby Boomers who were kids back in the 1960s are going to be in our 60s and beyond before this decade is over, and we may welcome a phone like this.

@lapabc I agree. Who is this silly chick to act so superior and condescending? She really thinks she's all that but she's a joke.
That said, I think she needs to take a look at tracfone's senior phone which is also simple but much less expensive. Of course, she'd have a snide comment on that too. What a joke. She's awful on camera.

This reviewer is over-the-top condescending. Even if it's an act, it's obnoxious and dumb.
Seniors or not, simplicity is a good thing... LOOK AT THE iPOD, for goodness sake.
Besides, seniors are a huge market and it's stupid for companies to ignore it... that's why they're starting to make things like the Jitterbug phone rather mocking it.
I have a Blackberry but also a very basic phone which happens to be practically indestructible... so look past snide comments for what's essential
