Introducing Izzy =D

I officially introduce you guys to one of my lease horses. This is Isabella aka Izzy. Izzy is a green pony at 14 hands. She is a 7 1/2 year old, dappled grey, welsh/quarter horse cross. She used to work as a jumper pony. Now her canter is screwed up. Me and the owner are working to fix her up again. She has not been ridden for 8 months. So I am getting her back into shape. And slowly getting her back into jumping =D she will be an amazing cute little pony when she's done. =D She is gorgeous tho, I just cant stop look at her. She still has alot of work ahead of her, but i can't wait to start seeing results =D NO matter how she acts, she will always be my favorite little pony =D

This is from Thursday. The work we did in this video was just walk/trot. Get her used to working again. We did some ground trotting poles to start strengthening her back end up again. I did a TON of half seat work at the walk and trot, so i got a work out too haha. Half seat work is hard haha. We also did some supping to get her to respond more to my aids i was giving her.

I'm sorry for my EQ and HORRIBLE riding. Please keep in mind, this is my 2nd time back in the saddle after being sidelined for 5 months. I had no job, or anything. And now I do have a job, so that means more lessons coming your way too =D I've decided that I'm probably going to be switching barns from AVSS to Windcrest Farm where Izzy's and Ty's owner trains. Maybe I'll do a "C" rated show in October. At this new barn, I'm going to aim for having group lessons. It'll be cheaper. cuz an hour private is like 65$ =o really expensive. =/ I really want to get into some serious showing this year going into the next. SO it'll be good to see what happens. SO I better do everything I can, to keep this job and NOT lose it =D

I go back to the barn in Tuesday so I'll be riding Ty =D As for the off farm lease... this is the ladies first time leasing a horse, and so i guess she's just going to come and ride at the barn. SO as i'm guessing I'm probably just doing a half lease on him, since this lady is trying to lease him too. I really hope he stays on the farm =D He also has his moments. But he is more trained then Izzy is. So I guess he may be a little easier to ride him.
