Until we get at the root of our healthcare problems, there will not be any real heathcare "reform".
Where's the health in health care reform?
A good article from 2005 which clearly explains where we are at today: http://www.naturalnews.com/012330.html
Gwen Olsen, author of "Confessions of an RX Drug Pusher", who worked as a sales representative for the drug companies for 15 years calling on doctors, tells how the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is now in bed with the pharmaceutical industry.
More information about Gwen Olsen can be found on her website:

She has a 175 page Ebook available for $6.00
All you need to know, whether it's Monsanto, or Big Pharma, the government, or whatever - the love of money is the root of all evil. Money talks and the poor are left to fend for themselves.

This is not news, but it is dispicable. 'SeekerNLife': I've seen some of those idiotic drug commercials! They're actually saying "There's a good chance that this drug could kill you, but we want you to take it anyway, because it means more money in our pockets"!

It probably has to do with the payolla, computerpurple.
Some drugs get fast tracked....others get shelved.
What else could it be, but behind the scenes payoffs that get some drugs rushed through...and others suppressed?

The way that Drugs are advertised on TV is just so....wrong.
And yeah, I'm not surprised that the FDA is in bed with the drug companies.

Uhmm ok this argument can go both ways. I've heard of stories about how the FDA has suppressed the release of a drug that could help someone butt they SOMETIMES move WAY to SLOW on giving the green light for some drugs.
