The music is not mine. All rights belong to Laura Story.
I just compiled pictures together to portray feelings throughout the song that would help other people cope through troubling times. Times may be difficult for you, but its these times where God shows up the most reaching His arms out for you. Remember this verse.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust and am not afraid. What can mere mortals do to me? - Psalms 56:3-4 -

Keep your head up :]

We pray for blessings
We pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
All the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love us way too much to give us lesser things

We pray for wisdom
Your voice to hear
And we cry in anger when we cannot feel You near
We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love
As if every promise from Your Word is not enough
All the while, You hear each desperate plea
But long that we'd have the faith to believe

'Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near
And what if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise

When friends betray us
When darkness seems to win
We know the pain reminds this heart
That this is not, this is not our home,

'Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears
And what if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near
What if my greatest disappointments
Or the aching of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst this world can't satisfy
And what if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest nights
Are your mercies in disguise

  • Amen, this song speaks so deep and it's so powerful. That my troubles are gods mercy. If I worry about being late to school well at least I get to go, let alone if it's a great school. God knows his plans for me and I'm sorry Jesus for taking these for granted. When you still watch over me with ever lasting mercy.

  • Always loved this song when I heard it but never knew who sang the song such a blessing to hear it !

  • Once Again God Spoke to me thru Music as I Shut Charlie's Angel Down for the Nite.

And there in the 1st Picture is She.

Even a Rainbow as a Sign SomeWhere in the Middle.

So humble yourselves under the mighty power of God,

and at the right time he will lift you up in honor.

  • When you go through a trial try to remember that you're just one more trial closer to the end where you get to face God yourself and tell him how thankful you are for how he held your hand through each one.

  • Right now i feel something heavy on my heart...In my church there is this 9 yr old named amanda...she has been diagnosed with a rare disease like a severe case of morphea and some other disease...There is no cure...the oldest person to live with it was only 12! They treat it with kemo theropy...its only speeding it up...i cry for her all the time...she loves to run and this disease could paralize her! SO PLEASE PRAY!

  • Absolutely beautiful, Our Lord is so wonderful and it is so nice to see the talent of His children . Great job.

  • This was played at my church, it was the first time I felt the connection between my own sufferings and God's impact on our lives. He loves us enough to show us suffering, something many mortal parents lack the wisdom to do. God Bless.

  • Great job with the video!!!! Beautiful!!!!!
