@KSH2006 what you do is.. after opening it, you lightly tap the shall so that the black stuff falls away from the inside of the shall. leaving only the orange tongue part..in New Zealand we call them kinas. my Favorite food. i love eating them..this video made me so hungry for them. you can buy them here already shelled for about $29. a punnet. i'm guna go buy me some right now..

I tried it before and it taste good even without any sauce.
It taste so sweet, tasty and fresh.
But it depend on what people think at the first time.

that girl in the end needs to get some culture... why? because culturally it is what they've grown to eat and love...not hotdogs and mcdonalds...
and fyi, uni or sea urchin is one of the most expensive ingredient in the culinary world, globally. a french fry is a dollar and change...so go figure tranny girl.

@benbodia yeah thats different on an island I would rather eat sand. I have eaten grubs, worms and bark I bet live urchin is even worse than that.

@Mitur486 Its the same thing for oysters.... Oysters are to be eaten live so its taste so fresh it deesn't stinks...
