@turnertalking You are so right. I was living in New York at the time it aired on Sunday Nights. ABC had the best shows back in the day.

I remember a different theme as well. One with a suit of armour bringing an axe down in front of the boys, or maybe their father. There was no split screen. The father I do remember was at one time the voice of the smuckers jam commercials.
