TImothy B. Schmit was recently in New York to promote his new album "Expando." TImothy stopped by ABC News Radio and talked with ABC News Radio's Andrea Dresdale about the new album, touring and his life as a member of the Eagles.

The musically diverse and autobiographical album "Expando" was recorded at Schmit's home studio near Los Angeles and features an eclectic gathering of musicians including Keb' Mo', Graham Nash, Kid Rock, The Blind Boys of Alabama, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, The Band's Garth Hudson, Van Dyke Parks, Dwight Yoakam, The Heartbreakers' Benmont Tench, and Timothy's son, Ben.

This response is in response to JSlice234 to my response... I have ALL of the James Gang's stuff, Henley's and Frey's. They are all incredible. That's not the point of my response. Together they are the Group of the decade, invdividually, they are good, but not nearly as good as they are together.

What makes the Eagles so good ? To badly misquote and paraphase a former president: It's the harmony stupid. It's the harmony.

I love the Eagles, but none of them are good enough to keep the publics attention performing individually, but that unique sound that they have as a group will live on forever.
