@KittenKoder "but its so much more exciting when the movie comes flaying at you!" *throws a remote at you*

@miesrah12 Not quite the same situation. 3D has been here many many many times already, color TV and movies just came and stayed. 3D is also just an enhancement to the image, it's not a new format or a revolutionary advancement. The problem is ... the problems, with 3D there is just no use for it, color had a massive purpose it filled, movies filled an even larger purpose. 3D fills no purpose.

@KittenKoder thats what they said about colored T.Vs and movies

3D movies are a fad ... again ... as you said. It's not even the bother with glasses and prices that will cause them to fade, it's that the new car smell will wear off and people will simply lose interest .... again. There are not as many applications as people claim, like the mouse and qwerty keyboard, we are too accustomed to working on and viewing 2D video and images.

mail does not equal media

3D is so stupid! Let's pay an extra 5$ at the theater to be uncomfortable!
Like guns.... And religion

If 3D TV was eventually made in a way that 1- Didn't require glasses and 2- Didn't make you feel like you were half focusing your eyes and making your brain work overtime just for it to understand where to focus, like 3DS's and other non-glasses products... then it might be an option for me. Until then I would prefer to stick with 2D.
