The Fall of 2004 was a busy semester for the University of Wisconsin's premier men's a cappella group, The MadHatters. Their biggest show ever, at the brand-new, 2251-seat Overture Hall was set for only two months in to the semester and recording time in the studio to create the followup to their highly acclaimed debut album, "State Street," would begin days after the Overture Hall show. With three new members and a dozen new songs to learn, there was no time to waste.
Mad Semester is a documentary on a few highlights (and lows) of the group's hectic semester.
This is Part 2 of 2, focusing on the recording process. Part 1 focuses more on performance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4wejQaRLyI&fmt=18
