Apparently the robot is now gone. One of the team mates took the robot without telling any team members. When confronted, wanted to keep the entire robot for himself because it was a "team effort". The rest of the "story" below:

"Hey,

Sorry for the late reply. I was kinda sick and busy on reports and stuffs, so i didn't have time to reply you. Regarding the robot, I check my house again and again, and i couldn't find the robot. I put the robot in a black plastic bag. I asked my parents and they thought it's garbage and threw it away! I'm so sorry about this.

Felix Poon"

  • @hyperkid86 Thanks! The Computer Engineer wrote an algorithm that followed the walls and kept count of the times the robot turned at each corner. After the 3rd the robot heads toward the exit and detects the opening. Once it turns the 4th time it rotates to back out. As for what happened to it, I've updated the description. It's sad but true. Well, probably not entirely true if you know what I mean.

  • cool robot, how did you find the exit? what did you do with it after the competition?
