Albert Haynesworth is trending after it was announced that the Washington Redskins were finally able to trade their trouble-making defensive tackle. The takers? None other than Bill Belichikapos;s Patriots. The Skins awarded Haynesworth with a $100 million contract in 2009, which is widely perceived as the biggest folly in NFL free agent history. The debacle started immediately when Haynesworth expressed displeasure with the defensive scheme run by Washington, and devolved into problems with the law as well as major head-butting with coach Mike Shanahan. This famous .gif illustrates a low point during which Haynesworth simply stopped making an effort on the field. Belichick is known for getting good deals, and the Redskins only received a 5th round pick in the 2013 draft in exchange for Haynesworth. It remains to be seen as to who got the better deal...

@SedanRevolution very true. although Moss and Seau never won SB's. still played in one tho. He can't be any worse than he was last season. is Brandon Tate gonna be a starter for you guys? or is he a backup and special teams kinda guy?

Have to say that I have mixed feelings about this.
While Haynesworth wasn't worth shit, in reality the Washington Redskins' defense, with their talent, was built to play the 4-3. When they did, they were always one of the best defenses in the NFL. The last decade proved this. Shanahan might be to blame for this one.
I can almost guarantee you that if the Redskins played the 4-3 like they should have, they wouldn't have had 59 points on their asses on a Monday Night by the fuckin' Eagles.
