If both TV shows had the same producer but were produced for different markets ( USA vs. Canada) it is possible that the scuba scene may have been "recycled" for the later show. It would be more "cost effective" than having another one shot.

@Aquamodelfan At least we can agree that both shows were pretty good in their day and filmed in nice beachy locations. Love the bikini on the opening titles...wonder where you can buy ones like that for the girlfriend today instead of those tiny boy short things that are current fashion.
