Guitar Hero Contest Video

I love doing effects on videos, and Guitar Hero (the first one) gave me the idea for the video I made. Is the song easy? Yes. Very. But it's good for two reasons:

1.) By being easy to play I could get 98-100% 4 times in a row so I could edit multiple angles together without continuity errors.

2.) Because the notes are common but not jammed together, the effects work better. Had I done Dragonforce, for example, you wouldn't be able to see where the notes are, since it would be a blur.

Matte with Shake 4.5, filters, layer it all - 4 separate pieces - then place over video of me jamming. It's actually pretty simple if you know how to rotoscope :)

Don't know if i deserve thanks, it's a terrible, terrible explanation!

Essentially you matte out the parts you don't want. Duplicate the frets. Using color correction create a layer of video for each color of button, then layer that together.
