Yes. Ni zao is a another way to say “Zao shang hao” and is more informal.

So you can say “Ni zao” when you meet your friends or colleagues in the morning.

@MinnaXiao I always used zao3 shang4 hao3 for good morning, now I see new vocabulary!

I can also use Ni1 zao3 too. Both ways are fine?

I like watching these again over and over there is so much I missed. Now my understanding of what they are saying is improving...Your methods work well !
