The reason is most likely cause He allows people to suffer when there is no need for it. Now we would be more accepting if He acknowledged he wasn't perfect and can't protect us at all times. He acknowledges He's not all powerful and doesn't force us to worship less we're condemned. That'll allow us to acknowledge his intent, and logically we can come together to take action against the evils of nature. God made us unnaturally right? That'll also mean He trusts us. He does not. Thus no love.
