  • One of the best, no doubt.

  • @Endeavour88 I just uploaded the Pollini rendition from 1974, if you are interested:

  • I feel like strangling Uchida here. She plays Schubert so beautifully and thoughtfully, but completely destroys the powerful rhythmic intensity in the ending of the first movement here with all her elongated pauses. This ending is one of the greatest endings of all music--the pulse is crucial here!

Otherwise, beautiful rendition of one of Schubert's best (and surprisingly underplayed) sonatas.

  • from 1:35 is wonderful...beautiful interpretation, but I still love the Pollini interpretation : )

  • Wonderful

  • because it started with the last video..it is made in two parts

  • thanks a lot for the upload.

  • im so sorry... i just read the part two. forgive me. lol. man you picked a really slow tempo, but its beautiful... youve given me some ideas to work on with my interpretation.

    ^_^

  • so lemme tell you how much I love this piece. well I cant, because cant even begin to describe how much this piece.... but whyd it start right in the middle? hmm.

    5*
