The debt when George W. Bush took office was $5.727 Trillion when he left it was $10.627. The debt/GDP increased by 27.1% in eight years of office (It was 83.4% when he left office).
.
Obama claims that his spending is reasonable better than Reagan. He proposed 3.7 Trillion with a deficit of 1.4 Trillion for 2011. Currently based on usdebtclock org, the debt/GDP is 97.2%. Obama in two years of office increased the debt/GDP by 13.8%.

They aren't the only reason that the economy's shit, but they are a large part of it. I hate the dems as much as most thinkers, but even I acknowledge that they're not the only responsible party.
After further research, it was a perfect storm of factors that led to the economy being this way. The predatory lending, misuse of credit, outsourcing of jobs, importing more than we export, bad investing, buying from China, and even though I support both of them, fighting wars on two fronts.

Demon-crats are the "ONLY" responsible party for this damn mess, you can not blame republicans, president Bush or otherwise, for not having enough power or influence over the American people to stop people like Obama, Pelosi and Reed or the peanut farmer. It's time this country starts blaming the right people. Impeachment of Obama would be a good place to start!!!!!!!!!!!!

....Something this race baiting piece of shit we now call president, BO, Body-Odor-Obama, did quite well in the last election.
Obama = 4 more years of peanut farmer.
To be fair, it was the housing market that triggered everything. It was half stupidity, half predatory lending.
And don't blame just the Republicans. Blame both sides. Sure, the Republicans may have oversaw Iraq, but the Dems were the one who the economy went south under.

You must not watch the news. The Republicans have been very vocal about how much they think the bill is a bad idea. But the Dems have an overwhelming majority in the House and the Senate.
