Ah, the topic of grace. I don't disagree with the concept of common grace. However I might possibly disagree with certain individuals interpretation of what they think is meant by common grace. Then again, I fear that some people may define grace to narrowly. Let me close with this - "For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men" - Titus 2:11 - God desires the salvation of all men - 1 Tim 2:3-4

/// Tha fact is your free offer and common grace blasphemy is found nowhere in the Word of God ///
On the contrary, it is firmly established in the Word. The thing is, you dont look at whats known in theology as "CONTEXT".
Do you know what that is?

@doctorh2005 Let us suppose that Calvin believed the same false doctrine as you. How would that give me a problem? You sound like such a little kid. It would merely make Calvin as wrong as what you are. I feel sorry for you. Running around trying to find a quote here and there of certain men to try and hide behind. Tha fact is your free offer and common grace blasphemy is found nowhere in the Word of God. You even quote the arminian Kirk Cameron. That says alot about your beliefs!

Eat THIS one!
"It is true that Saint John saith generally, that [God] loved the world. And why? For JESUS CHRIST [BENEVOLENTLY] OFFERETH HIMSELF generally TO ALL MEN WITHOUT EXCEPTION TO BE THEIR REDEEMER"
[JOHN CALVIN: Sermons on Deuteronomy]
Looks like you got a problem.... Calvin himself believes in the Free Offer aswell!

"God [BENEVOLENTLY] saith to reprobates, 'BELIEVE IN CHRIST AND YE SHALL BE SAVED'"
[SAMUEL RUTHERFORD - Puritan (Letters of Samuel Rutherford)]
Calvin makes it clear in His Commentary on Ezekiel 18:23 that God does not wish the conversion of the reprobate. Calvin writes… ‘Since, therefore, repentance is a kind of second creation, it follows that it is not in man’s power; and if it is equally in God’s power to convert men as well as to create them, it follows that the reprobate are not converted, because God does not wish their conversion; for if he wished it he could do it: and hence it appears that he does not wish it.’

/// Calvin makes it clear in His Commentary on Ezekiel 18:23 that God does not wish the conversion of the reprobate ///
When Calvlin says that, he is referring not to God's "Benevolent" will, but His DECRETIVE will.
God does not DECRETIVELY wish that the reprobate come to repentace (He has not "decreed" it to be), but when God says "Turn to Me ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH AND BE SAVED", He clearly shows a "desire" that all be saved. - a "benevolent" desire.

Here is an example of the gospel preaching of Martyn Lloyd Jones - "He is here tonight offering Himself and His salvation to you. Yield yourself to Him. Listen to Him. Follow Him. Obey Him. The way to God and to heaven are open in Him in spite of all your sin and shame. He came, He lived. He died. He rose again for you" (Martyn Llyod Jones - Old Testament Evangelistic Sermons - pages 56-57 - edited by Iain Murray).
What do you have to say about this blasphemous nonsense doctorh2005?

@Testallthings
And finally...
"Man, by his fall, having made himself incapable of life by that covenant, the Lord was pleased to make a second, commonly called the covenant of grace; wherein He FREELY [AND BENEVOLENTLY] OFFERS UNTO SINNERS LIFE AND SALVATION BY JESUS CHRIST, requiring of them faith in Him, that they may be saved"
