  • I wish I could find one of you guys from the 'old school' to teach me how to do this...properly.

    Keep up the good work.

  • soo good to see a lefty doing calligraphy.. its so much harder for lefties usually.. but i guess the ink you are using dries much faster.. i dont see you using a ruler to hold your hand above the work.

  • @HoulMello I'm a leftie and took calligraphy lessons. It's doable, but troublesome because your hand will drag over the fresh ink if you rest it on the sheet for stability like most people do. Think of it as calligraphy in maniac mode.

  • one very dignified application of one version of this script is of course: Ye olde MOTORHEAD ! logo....

  • I could listen 2 this all the time, so nice explained and well presented :)

  • Left handed calligraphy! Sweet skill, sir. @houlmello- Watch the placement of your hand and don't rush it, generally it's easier for people that are right handed because you go left to right. When doing calligraphy left handed there's a tendency to drag your hand across the work piece, which could smear the lettering if not careful. Definitely takes practice to break this habit, but as seen in this demonstration, with practice it can be mastered.

  • how is it being a lefty calligrapher? because im a lefty... and considering learning calligraphy. any advise would be appreciated :)

  • CONGRATULATIONS, YOU ARE A TREASURE!!!
