Great video! I'm just learning, but theoretically, could I create an entire song's drum track like this and export the midi to run through EZDrummer or something like that?

You are the first one to explain this where i understand it. I've been trying forever to set up drums, and had it before I even got to the middle of the video! Thank you! I only wish I'd found you sooner.I am now a subscriber. Best tutorial video ever! More please.

Thank you!
How would you pan the individual parts of the kit?

@rob61091 That would happen within your sampler or drum plugin.

how are you re-recording the cymbals / hat without overwriting the kick and snare? i've been trying to figure this out for hours :(

@GabeGuevaraTV You have to have "MIDI Merge" enabled on your Transport window. Select MIDI Controls so it displays in your tool bar (next to the Transport). Then click on the MIDI Merge button ( it’s to the left of the Conductor track button; looks like an arrow pointing at another arrow) to activate it. Then try to record again!
