@DraconianKindness Yeah, mee too! Even though I lean pretty far left I do respect Buckley as a host, debater and political thinker. And he is pretty entertaining to watch. Last time I checked there was no full episode but watch the opening of Michael Harrington on W.F.Buckley's Firing Line... at one point Buckley says: "If your point is that people need to eat I'll concede it." that cracked me up, it really did.

I'm not smart enough for this shit

I almost feel sorry for Buckley on this one...almost. Bravo!

I like how they are politely cinical
specially this man who gets pissed of by chomsky's calm stance

That thing Buckley does with his hand at 2:48 followed by the wink looks so snobby, but like someone else said, entertaining to watch. You just don't see debate like this anymore.

does anyone else think buckley has massive hands? i know it's not exactly relevant, but still, fucking huge.

chomsky got mad new york left-wing jewish pussy after this night, he was fucking brandeis university sororities for 5 years after this appearance. no wonder chomsky alive and bill buckley's dead in a box.

Buckley sounds like Jim Varney's old woman character
I really like both these guys :) I like Chomsky for his ideas and I like Buckley because he's entertaining to watch ;)

@CorrbriasReloaded Hear, hear. Buckley was bright, but Chomsky is brilliant.
