Do people actually use the shapeshifting abilities in battle? I personally think magic is still stronger than a swarm of flies or a war bear.

@RcmOmega I've only used them for fast travelling. For example, the swarm is amazing if you want to cover a large area quickly :].

@RcmOmega I do. Firstly it looks cool. And secondly when I get bored of flinging spells at people it gives me a chance fighting people, without creating a mage who is just and auto-attacking warrior, as Arcane Warrior does.

Arrogant? I am confident because I speak from experience. Google "Shapeshifting 101" and "Shapeshifting FAQ" (Bioware forums). Those are mine. The majority of the Shapeshifter gameplay info and charts in Dragon Age wiki? Mine. And you'll find me in Bioware forums giving advice to DPS rogue, warrior and mage builds because DPS is my specialty, the fact the I like Shapeshifters is simply more of a hobby. You can be sure that I know perfectly well what I am talking about.
