  • Great animation, very inspirational. But what will India and another countries find from their good efforts from the Moon other than realize as the Americans found 50 years ago.......the moon is worthless! This seems to be a 'catch up' to something that has already been done a half century ago by the US. I'd wish they'd to devote themselves to better projects. Mars and more.

  • @ziggycat999 50 years ago the U.S went to the Moon but the world did not have scientific technologies to analyze the moon properly. There is still a lot for us to learn about the moon, during the Chandrayan 1 mission, water was discovered in the moon and that is just the beginning.

  • @kedharf1

    Well Said !!!....

  • @ziggycat999

    1) And these are the first steps required to move towards having a permanent human presence on the moon.

    2) More detailed 3D topographic and mineralogical mapping of the moon

    3) Eventually position to harvest potentially valuable energy resources like Helium 2 for our Mankind’s ever growing energy needs.

    4) Not to mention the obvious... for India to indigenously develop and prove the technology required for more complex space exploration.

  • Sorry I meant to say "Helium 3" for point (3)....

It is rare on Earth, and is sought for use in nuclear fusion research. The abundance of helium-3 is thought to be greater on the Moon (embedded in the upper layer of regolith by the solar wind over billions of years)

  • dev one qustion why this mission round two times earth? its not possible direct? fuel is waste right?

  • @faisalkkol - 5 orbit raising thruster burns that increase the apogee of the elliptical orbit of Chandrayaan until it was able to reach the moon is the most fuel efficient method to get to the Moon.

  • 7:49 i will be waiting for this moment. it made my eyes water, i love my india :D

  • @kedharf1 REALLY GOOOD POINT ,GREAT POINT

  • @kedharf1 Agreed.

  • India plans a Manned Mission to Moon by 2025. I hope it works out well, I don't know about other Nations but as an Indian I would definitely love to see an Indian land on the Moon and plant a Flag of India on the Moon.

Go India ! Before anyone criticize India, They should remember that India only got it's independence roughly 50 years ago and has already made this much progress ! I can't imagine what India would achieve 50 years from now.

  • Nice clip.. animation quality could be better.. in the beginning the planets were really exaggerated in size relative to the sun.. good soundtrack selection

  • @gsrikar I agree.

  • @gsrikar Yes you are right.. but most of our books were stored in Nalanda Vishwavidyala which was burnt down by invaders.. those books held the knowledge of various technologies even Nuclear Weapons(Brahmaastra). We would have been 100 times better than any other country only we had Nalanda!
